I need advice from anyone that knows about becoming an actor?

OK, so im 15 and im good actor i know i am, i've been told i am multiple times. The problem is that i don't know where to get my acting career started. If you have any type of advice that i can use to get my career started please post an answer. I want to know how to get started.

The first thing you need is experience. Join your school's drama club. Audition for school plays and local community theatre shows. Take as many acting classes as possible. Read some books on acting (those by Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Kristen Linklater and Jack Poggi are great). Be sure to get the support of your parents, they can help you a lot.

If you would like too there is also acting camps to go to. One really amazing camp is Young Actors Camp. It is located in California 30 minutes away from los angeles.


They stay at college dorms, go to different sets (let year they went to the set of Wizards of Waverly Place), meet and interact to with actors(david hernie, brenda song, and anna sophia robb was there this year), and lot more. You would also get head shots, build a resume, take classes to add to a current resume or for a new one. Also audition for HOLLYWOOD casting agents. You seems like you are serious about your acting career. That is good thing that you want more and more suggestions and advice to become actor. I suggest you to join any good acting school where talented and professional acting faculties learn various acting techniques. Take more and more acting classes. There are many website willing to provides acting tips, get tips for acting from their. Do regular communication in acting related forums. Also read books related to acting.
