I need some advice on a recipe?

I have a recipe for a pumkon pie that calls for evaporated milk. May I substitute condensed milk and decrease the sugar or omit it all together? Thank you in advance. Y'all have always come through for me in the past.I need some advice on a recipe?

It will be way too sweet and not is creamy .but you could thin the milk out with regular milk and give that I try, do a half and half .
substitution ideas recommend using cream or half and half when you don鈥檛 have evaporated milk on hand
No, the two are not interchangeable.
