Does anyone have any advice or tips on babysitting?

I need some advice, suggestions, or tips for babysitting. I'm babysitting tomorrow, Thursday. I'm babysitting for a 2 year old. He's very active and wants to continuously be doing something. Game suggestions or things to do at the park or my backyard would be great, too. If you have any websites I can check out, please tell me about them, too. Thank you, in advance, for your help.Does anyone have any advice or tips on babysitting?
sure...i love to babysit, i just got done w/ a 9 hour day....

-i always leave the parents a note, of what we did, when the kid/s ate, slept, whatever, they love hearing how wonderful their kid/s were. many of families i have babysit for look for it first thing when they come in the door. (good pleaser to get invited back)

-fun, simple crafts. paint, crayons, the parent will love seeing what he made for them

-take him outside, and take a medium sized-light ball and just play catch. little kids, especially like attempting this. too cold? use a balloon and stay inside.

-if he seems pretty smart(advanced) go on an ';adventure'; and find missing objects, outside, hide balls, small toys, he will feel accomplished.

-play dough. so fun.

-make a simple obstacle course, keep in mind at 2 years old, nothing elaborate, maybe jump over something small, weave through cones, go through hula hoop, etc.

-try doing some educational stuff, too, like puzzles, pop up books, touch and feel books, or an educational video

good luck! you shouldn't be bored, especially with a 2 year old! have fun! Hope this helped!Does anyone have any advice or tips on babysitting?
take him to the park and push him on the swings...

take a ball out in the backyard and kick or throw it back and forth...

check out familyfun.com. they have craft ideas specific to the age of the child and length of time you have.....
like i know a game little kids like its a board game but i loved it when i was little and its called ';dont wake daddy';. its where you move these peices acrossed the board tring not to get the daddy to wake up if you have that game.

or you could like push him on a swing at the park, thats origanal. lol. if you do take him to the park you could put him on monkey bars and help him do monkey bars. oh and little kids love to play in like sand pits and dirt piles so you could like build stuff with sand with him if you want or dig holes and look for things. my friends little brother loves diging for things in the back yard.
if he's active, he'll love the park or anyplace outdoors -he'll find things to do there. He can explore the nature and climb on monkey bars and swing and there will probably be other kids at the park as well. Good luck and keep your sense of humor (always!)
